I'm Sara, the owner here at Smith Farmhouse Co. Our small business was born out of a passion for creating and caring for those I love. I first began making skin care products for my sweet girls -- Rowan, Hadley, and Parker. Our children have very sensitive skin, and I was not a fan of putting products on their skin with questionable ingredients. And here begins Smith Farmhouse Co.
I started this journey by whipping up all-natural body butter to care for their eczema-prone skin. Our family loved it so much that I continued making our skincare for years, which expanded into making and gifting for friends, as well. After being encouraged by friends and family that our homemade skincare was a product worth sharing, Smith Farmhouse Co. was born!
Over time, our skincare line has expanded, but everything is still 100% handcrafted out of our home by... you bet. Yours truly! Everything pictured here has been lovingly handmade within the walls of our home in Defiance, Missouri. My number one goal is to create nourishing products with all-natural ingredients that you can trust. Healthy, clean, simple. Each small batch is handcrafted with a blend of mango butter, kokum butter, cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, arrowroot powder, a blend of essential oils and extracts, and vitamin E oil. These rich butters and oils contain anti-inflammatory properties, essential fatty acids, and an abundance of vitamins A, E and C.
